LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN

Hi Guys!
This post will tell you about my heroes.

Ludwig van Beethoven,
I chose him as my heroes because...

Beethoven was born in Bonn, Germany around December 15, 1770. He was born during a time when Europe was changing. This was a time when people were discovering a new life. They were going out and trying new things. This became the Era of the Romantics. Beethoven did his share in changing Europe during this time. He just didn’t sit around watching these changes as they went by.
Bonn, Germany
Beethoven's house at Bonn
Beethoven showed much interest in music as a young child. His father encouraged him to practice both piano and the violin. Beethoven’s father was hoping his child would be as sensational as the Musician Mozart. But his childhood wasn’t as good as everyone thought it was.
Piano
Violin
Beethoven began taking music lessons at the age of eight years old. His music teacher was musician, C.G Neefe. Beethoven learned the rules of composition and was able to master the techniques of a professional keyboard player from Neefe. He was even composing his own short piano pieces. Neefe believed that Beethoven should have the opportunity to travel. So, Neefe let him go to Vienna.
Neefe
Mozart
Haydn

When Beethoven went to Vienna he met and had lessons with the musical legend Mozart. But what Beethoven thought was a great time for him, ended very quickly because he had news that his mother was dying from tuberculosis, so he returned to Bonn. During this hard time Beethoven began to make his name known as a very fine musician. Beethoven had another opportunity to once again visit Vienna with famous music composer Joseph Haydn. Once again problems struck because there was a battle going on during this time, but he still went.
As time went by Beethoven wasn’t really enjoying working with Haydn because he believed he wasn’t a really good teacher because he was “too keen of rules”. So he began taking different paths. He had to find a new job in Vienna to send the money to his two brothers because his father had died. He began working at private parties. He was beginning to get a reputation as the most exciting pianist in Vienna by the way he amused his audiences.
At the age of thirty, Beethoven was realizing a really horrible thing. He was getting signs that he was going deaf. He was noticing these symptoms about three years earlier in 1798. He honestly thought that his career was over because of how difficult it was for him to do his job. He eventually had to give up playing the piano and teaching altogether. Beethoven created many things during his life time: symphonies, chorals, sonatas and his only opera, Fidelio.
Fidelio
Famous song (Fur Elise)
He died on March 26, 1827 around 5:45 p.m. Twenty thousand people came to see his funeral. He was buried at Währing's Cemetery. But in 1888 his remains were brought to The Central Cemetery of Vienna.

He is my heroes because he made a lot of changes in music. Even though he was deaf, he doesn't give up, he works hard for being a very find musician and it was success. So, there's nothing to prevent successful.

HANSEL AND GRETEL SCRIPT

Hi everyone! I believe you guys know a story about Hansel & Gretel.
And this is a Hansel & Gretel's script.

HANSEL & GRETEL

NARRATOR: Hansel and Gretel lived in a forest in a tiny cottage with their poor father, who was a woodcutter, and their evil stepmother. One day, their stepmother said to their father that they should abandon the two children deep in the forest because she thought that if they were gone, she would have more food for herself. She insisted so much that the woodcutter finally agreed. But Hansel and Gretel were not sleeping, they were listening to the whole conversation.

HANSEL: Don´t cry, little sister. I have an idea to find our way back home.

NARRATOR: The next morning, when they went into the forest, their stepmother gave each one of them a piece of bread.

STEPMOTHER: Don´t eat this bread before lunch, because this is all you are going to eat today.

HANSEL AND GRETEL: We won´t.

NARRATOR: While they were walking, Hansel was secretly leaving a trail of breadcrumbs in order to find their way back home.

STEPMOTHER: Stay here until we come to pick you up.

NARRATOR: Hansel and Gretel did as they were told, but then night came.

HANSEL: Come on Gretel, it´s time to find our way home.
GRETEL: I´ll help you find the breadcrumbs.
HANSEL: I can´t find any!
GRETEL: Oh no, I knew it! The animals ate them! Now what are we going to do?
HANSEL: We need to find a safe place to stay.
GRETEL: Look! There´s a cave over there.
HANSEL: Let´s go!

NARRATOR: They stayed in the cave for a few days without eating, until they finally decided to go out and find some food to eat. So they walked deeper into the forest when they saw something in the distance.

GRETEL: What is that over there?
HANSEL: It looks like a little house.
GRETEL: Let´s take a closer look.

NARRATOR: So they approached the little house.

HANSEL: This house is weird. Look Gretel, it´s all made up of chocolate, cookies, and bread!
GRETEL: And it´s delicious!
HANSEL: I´ve never tasted anything like this in my whole life!

NARRATOR: Suddenly, a witch opened the door to the delicious house.

WITCH: How did you get here, little children?
HANSEL: We got lost in the forest.
WITCH: Oh, poor of you! Please, come inside.
GRETEL: No, I don´t think we should.
HANSEL: Don´t worry, she will not harm us.
WITCH: Of course not, I am an old, old lady.
HANSEL: See, Gretel. She is like our grandmother.
WITCH: You can even stay here with me. I live here all alone in the forest. I will cook for you, you look so thin and weak.

NARRATOR: The two siblings stayed with the witch but Hansel knew deep inside him that there was something wrong.

GRETEL: What is wrong?
HANSEL: Why does she care so much about us, if she doesn't even know us?.
GRETEL: And she gives us so much food!
HANSEL: She wants us to be fat…
GRETEL: To eat us!
HANSEL AND GRETEL: Oh No!

NARRATOR: The witch was hiding behind the door listening to every word they said.

WITCH: You´re right! Get in the oven!

HANSEL AND GRETEL: In the oven? It´s too small!
WITCH: No it's not, even I can fit in it… look!

NARRATOR: Then she gets inside the oven and Hansel and Gretel quickly shut the door, leaving her trapped inside.

HANSEL: Come on, run!

NARRATOR: They ran outside the house as fast as they could. They walked for two days until they reached their old house.

HANSEL: We are finally home!

NARRATOR: They knocked at the door and their father opened it

FATHER: My dear children!
HANSEL AND GRETEL: Father!
FATHER: My wife died and all this time I have been thinking of you.
HANSEL: We missed you!
GRETEL: We suffered a lot but we learned to survive by ourselves.
FATHER: Please forgive me!
HANSEL AND GRETEL: We love you, there is nothing to forgive!

SEAHORSE!!!

Hi Guys!
Now, I'm going to tell you a lot of informations about an animal called seahorse.
I believe that you guys know this animal.
Okay, let's start.
Image result for seahorse
Seahorse is the name given to small marine fishes in the genus Hippocampus. "Hippocampus" comes from the Ancient Greek word hippos meaning "horse" and kampos meaning "sea monster". The word "seahorse" can also be written as two separate words (sea horse), or hyphenated (sea-horse).
Having a head and neck like a horse, seahorses also feature segmented bony armour, an upright posture and a curled prehensile tail.

The Scientific Classification of seahorse:
Kingdom : Animalia
Phylum : Chordata
Class : Actinopterygii
Order : Syngnathiformes
Family : Syngnathidae
Subfamily : Hippocampinae
Genus : Hippocampus

In 2012, there are 54 species of seahorse. Some of them are:

Hippocampus hippocampus Linnaeus, 1758 (short-snouted seahorse)
Image result for hippocampus subelongatus
Hippocampus subelongatus Castelnau, 1873 (West Australian seahorse)

Hippocampus whitei Bleeker, 1855 (White's seahorse)

Pygmy Seahorses

Seahorses range in size from 1.5 to 35.5 cm. They are named for their equine appearance with bent necks and long snouted heads followed by their distinctive trunk and tail. Although they are bony fish, they do not have scales, but rather thin skin stretched over a series of bony plates, which are arranged in rings throughout their bodies. Each species has a distinct number of rings. Seahorses swim upright using their dorsal fin. The pectoral fins located on their side of the head are used for maneuvering. Their prehensile tail can only be used in the most extreme conditions. They are adept at camouflage depending on their habitat.

Unusual among fish, a seahorse has a flexible, well-defined neck. It also sports a crown-like spine or horn on its head, termed a "coronet," which is distinct for each species.

Seahorses swim very poorly, rapidly fluttering a dorsal fin and using pectoral finsThe slowest-moving fish in the world is H. zosteare (the dwarf seahorse). Since they are poor swimmers, they usually found resting with their prehensile tails wound around an object. They have long snouts, which they use to suck up food, and their eyes can move independently of each other.

Seahorses are mainly found in shallow tropical and temperate waters throughout the world, from about 45°S to 45°N and live in sheltered areas such as seagrass, estuaries, coral reefs, or mangroves.

Seahorses feed on small crustaceans floating in the water or crawling on the bottom. With excellent camouflage and patience, seahorses attack prey that floats. Mysid shrimp and other small crustaceans are favorites, but some seahorses have been observed eating other kinds of invertebrates and even larval fish.

SEAHORSE AS PETS
Image result for seahorses IN AQUARIUM
Many aquarium hobbyists keep them as pets. Seahorses should be kept in an aquarium with low flow and placid tank mates. Keepers should look carefully at good water quality. A water quality problems will affect to seahorse, such as reduced feeding, erratic swimming, and gasping at the surface. Seahorses swim up and down, using the length of the aquarium. Therefore, the tanks should ideally be twice as deep as the length of the adult seahorse.
They are slow feeders, so, fast and aggressive feeders will leave them without food. Seahorses can live with many species of shrimp and other bottom-feeding creatures. Keepers have to avoid eels, tangs, triggerfish, squid, octopus, and sea anemons.

SEAHORSE AS DELICACY AND CHINESE MEDICINE

The consumption of seahorses is widespread in traditional Chinese medicine, primarily in connection with impotence, wheezing, nocturnal enuresis, and pain, as well as labor induction. Up to 20 million seahorses may be caught each year to be sold for such uses. Seahorses are also consumed by the Indonesians, the central Filipinos, and many other ethnic groups.

That's all some informations about seahorse. Hope this blog can expand your knowledge.
Thankyou for reading:)

FESTIVAL SENI, SASTRA, DAN BUDAYA MEGANTARA

Hello!
This is my third post.. In this post, I'm going to tell you about the most interesting event in this year.. The event is.. MEGANTARA!!!

From what I heard, Megantara is the third cultural festival held by SMAN 3 Bandung. SMAN 3 Bandung always make cultural festival in this last three years after vacuum for 7 years. In my opinion, the purpose of cultural festival is to make young generation know many cultures had by Indonesia and we have to proud of it.

Megantara consist of two sanscrit words, those are "Mega" and "Gantari". Megantara take a concept based on archipelago. It means, Megantara devided the area into 5 big islands in Indonesia, those are Sumatera, Jawa, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua. The area shows the characteristics of those 5 big islands, such as traditional food, musical instrument, games, and many more. For example, in Sumatera's area there is pempek and in Jawa's area there is gamelan.

Megantara was held on 10th of September located at Lapangan Bali. For I am a students of SMAN 3 Bandung who didn't join the committee, I have to come to Lapangan Bali at 7 o'clock and wear Kebaya. Students who didn't join the committe must join the parade. The parade was walk around SMAN 3 Bandung, we walked from Lapangan Bali, to Jalan Merdeka and back again to Lapangan Bali. After I did the parade, I have to wait until the open gate. Open gate started around 11.35 a.m. So, me and my friends went to BIP for eating lunch. Because the time run so slow, I asked to help my friends who joined the fashion show, but there was nothing to help, so I just saw them while preparing the fashion show.

At 12 o'clock, me and my friends got into Megantara and it was very hot. So, just a few people watch the performance on stage. Everyone searched place for shelter, include me. Getting late, people began to arrive and it was more cool than before. One by one, people watched the performance. Before maghrib, people not focused on what is on stage. But after maghrib, almost everyone gather in front of the stage and it was very crowded.

The performance was so interesting because majority of the performance related to Indonesian cultures, there were performance from Tiloe's Theatre, Wayang Golek Putra Giri Harga 3, The Changcuters, RAN, and many more. But, I didn't watch Tiloe's Theatre from the beginning because I have to pray and when I got back, I couldn't go to front to watch it, so yea:(

The top of this event is about 2 hours before it was done. Why? Because The Changcuters and RAN was performing their song and for a moment, Lapangan Bali was so full of people happiness.

This event was end at 10 o'clock at night. This event was success, but also tiring and I will never forget it:) I hope next year I could join the committee.

That's all from me.. If you curious of what will cultural festival next year be like.. Just come!
Thankyou..

WORLD TOURNAMENT & TECHNO FEST

Hello! It's me again, I'm writing for the second time and I hope it would be better :)
In this post, I'm going to tell you about an event in SMAN 3 Bandung called WTTF.

World Tournament & Techno Fest or we can call it WTTF is one of the OSIS at SMAN 3 Bandung's programme. This programme was held at 20th of August. 20th of August was Saturday which means it should have been a sport lesson. So, this programme became the presence of sport lesson. Every students in 32019 generation must join this programme. But it doesn't mean that only 32019 join this programme. 32018 generation also joined. Why? Because OSIS wants to increase the bond between 32019 and 32018. Beside that, in this programme we have to speak in English. The main information that I got is, 32019 play against 32018 to win a game in every place that have been fixed. If a class wins the game, they will get a piece of card. That piece of card will be arranged by 32019 and 32018 at the end of this event.

For there were a lot of students, every class should have their own costume. As a X MIA 3 student, I have to wear a black shirt with black pants (school sport uniform) and batik fabric from school too.

WTTF started when we got a map from OSIS. The map gave a clue to guide us to the place we have to go in order. If I'm not mistaken, we had to go to 10 places, but we just went to 8 places because the time had run out. The first game was the fight game (I don't know the name) by using a playstation stick. And the 32018 win. Second, we had to go to Music Centrum Garden to play a 'Rangking 2' game. So, we have to be a second for being a winner. My class won in this game!! Third, we had to go to badminton court for playing a playstation again. But because the score was draw, so both classes got that piece of card. Next, the purpose of the game was collecting water as much as possible by throwing a watered sponge and we won again. After that, we had to play flappy bird, but here there was some problems because the handphone that we used for playing the game ran out of battery, but we still won the game! The next place was a bit far, it's at photo garden. Before we continued the game, we took a rest, eat, and pray. After that, we continued the game by playing twister and making robot. Both of the game won by my class. Because the time had run out, we have to go to Lapangan Bali to arrange that piece of card. Arranging that piece of card spent almost 30 minutes, but that's okay because 32019 win this game...

To be honest this kind of programme is tiring, but I can take a moral value from the game that we play, such as teamwork and supportive.

That's all from me for this second post. I hope you enjoys it
See you in the my next post..
